Ace Cafe Streetfighter pre-Show Practice @ Wembley Stadium

I spent the day in the splendid grounds of Wembley stadium for a bit of pre-show practice with female pro drifter Belinda Challis in preparation for the Ace Cafe Streetfighter show the following day. We had a fantastic time with bright blue skies, warm tarmac and smoking hot tyres.
That evening I took the wheelie machine to the Ace cafe for some non-stop wheelie action, which went down a storm and met some top people. I am pleased to say the wheelie machine is now going to be a regular feature at the Ace Cafe.
Ace Cafe Streetfighter Show @ Wembley Stadium

Feeling wrecked from the day / night before I found myself outside Wembley stadium at 8oclock in the morning with the dedicated team, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of everyone setting up, eagerly waiting for the public to come through the gates. We quickly set up and started to make some noise with the wheelie machine. Belinda Challis commandeered the Bennett’s girls for a photo shoot on the Wheelie Machine and two of the them could not resist climbing on board for a jolly good wheelie- ing (please see gallery).
Once Knoxed up and suited and booted in my newly sponsored Hein Greicke clothing, I made my way to the main arena with pre-show excitement. Action Cameras kindly supplied me with an onboard camera which I constantly checked I’d setup correctly as I watched while Belinda warmed up her tyres.
As the crowds increased I climbed aboard the first bike, my trusty steed the CBR600, and pulled away alongside Belinda for the start of the show. With a series of combined manoeuvres we stated to jam and as we engaged with the crowds, it was not long before they started to cheer over the sound of the engines and the screaming of the tyres. Once warmed up I switched to the CBR900 and started to lay down some serious rubber in close pursuit of the drift car. We intertwined in a drift battle through the plumbs of smoke; car vs. bike as never seen before. (Please see gallery)
(Big thank you to photographers; Naomi Fountain www.bang-to-rights.com Ian Brent and Kathryn Archer, and not forgetting the rest of the team).
