Mall DH!

This year's downhill in a mall in Prague downtown is behind me. Check out some pictures and GoPro footage of my team mate from his helmet.
I had a little accident in training, cased one obstacle with front wheel and went over bars. I had a laceration on my chin, got a bandage for the race and afterall went to get three stitches.
In first round I transfered from 35 invited riders to top 25 from middle position. In the next round inside the top 10, I had a puncture on the escalators right after the start. I couldnt finish the run nor repeat it. The race is extremely popular here and had thousands of spectators. It was a great fun.

Snow & Bikes Chopok
02-02-2012
This weekend I raced the first round of winter series in Slovakia 1ENERGY Snow & Bikes Chopok. From nearly 100 signed up riders, about 80 started the race. It was a four cross elimination style with a time trial to get in. Unfortunately during the very first training runs, the shaped track already changed into a snow sludge so it became only a fun survival.
I qualified 18th and finished 20th overall after my shifter froze up in the lightest gear before my 1/8finals:-).

Questions and Answers
When did you start riding?
I started when I was 6, at a local BMX track near my house. I started with 4X when I was 15 or so. I ride that local BMX track until today!
You started with BMX and the went to 4X, is BMX still the 1st love?
BMX is great but not in my country. I wish we had better conditions for doing it, because right now, it is pretty impossible to race at world level and live in Czech. Its way different in mountainbikes. 4X is awesome and wins it!
How do you see your career developing?
Quite a big change for me this year, it was my first "MTB only" season with no BMX race at all. It was also a full season right after a major injury. It wasnt bad at all and I had a lot of fun, so lets see how far can I go.
Are you World Cup bound?
World Cups are the best events I have ever experienced. Both BMX Supercross and mountain bikes WC are pushing the limits further and are just awesome to do. I am definitely doing all rounds next year again, wish me luck!
