In 2010 Jamie has gone his own way and decided to run a one man team. While riding for Relentless Suzuki in 08 and 09 the results were hard fought and injury did not help.
2010 sees Jamie continue with Suzuki but he is fighting a differnt battle this season and its a battle he is winning, runnign at the front for the privateers and he often the 1st non "works" rider home.
A great development rider Jamie has helped Knox develop their class leading Warrior harness.

Rib Cracking Crash
29-09-2011
Hi all,
Well it was the last day of racing out here in Australia befor the long flight back to the UK. Both me and Janette really looking forward to getting home and catching up with all our friends and family. Race 1 went ok. I was in 4th position on the first lap and managed to work up into 2nd by lap three, where i stayed for another two laps untill the chequred flag was shown. They were only 5 lap sprint races as this was a one off event where riders race for the title ‘KING OF THE SAND’
Race 2 i realised i had to get a better start if i wanted to be in with a chance of winning the overall. I made a good drop and powered along the start into the first corner, as i came off the gas and onto the brakes the front end of my bike washed out (lost grip). From this point there was nothing i could do to save it so had to let the crash run its cause.
I felt a couple of bikes hit me, in pain i just laid there untill the doctors came to my assistance. Thanks to all the medical crew for all their help on the day, they took their time and made all the right moves. Anyway i short trip to hospital some x-rays, ultrasound and CT scans later i was told i had five broken ribs and a punctured lung!!!!
The ribs will be sore and just heal on their own with time, as will the lung but it also means i can not fly home untill the puncture repairs.
At the minute it is Thursday 18th at 10am and i am waiting for the doctor to visit my room and hopefully discharge me, Then return to hospital in around a weeks time for a re x-ray and hopefully be told it is now safe to fly!! Time has never gone so slow! Ha!
A big thankyou to all my visitors Niel and Sara Calvin, Ma and Popsy Calvin, Michael and family, Charlie and Camo, Phil and Jeremy (Jack) Hammer. And last but not least Larry and Brenda for all your support.
Also Janette for being a Girlfriend in a million and just getting on with things (including washing my feet).
Mam, Dad and Jodie are also always at the end of skype to make time go faster.
I will keep you all up to date with the recovery and be back on track ASAP.
Jamie
Down Under!!!

Toowoomba left everything and i mean everything filthy, Larry being the type of man he is insisted on arranging us a hotel for the night befor we set off down the Sunshine Coast in search of Sydney, not only that but he took all of my dirty kit and returned it clean and dry afew days later when we arrived in perth. Thanks Larry! With the clothing taken care of this just left us with the boots, helmet, trainers and camper to clean. We set off from the hotel just befor dinner on Sunday evening in serch of a power wash- No luck so it was left to good old fashion elbow greese with water being supplied by BP’s awesome air and water stations found at most of their service stations.
Everything now clean, along with a good feed and nights sleep we left on our little sight seeing adventure! First stop Surfers Paradise- With the time in Dubai i had chance to read a book on the life of the great Barry Sheen, It turns out in his last few years Barry and his family lived at Surfers Paradise so that gave us all the more reason to visit. Long beaches tall buildings and surfers, i dont think we expected anything different, kind of does exactly what it says on the tin! A walk around the town then luch at a beach bar (while dodging the killer seagulls) we then set off to our next destination.
Byron Bay- Altho the weather took a turn for the worse this place has to be one of the nicest places we visited, a small town, small bay style beaches, cool shops and home to the most Easterly point of Australia mainland. The jucy was abandoned in a car park, jackets and shorts on (we thought less to get wet) and we hiked up to the light house wich overlooks the town. The view from the top was awesome even on the dull day we had been given. One of the places you visit and think you would definatly like to go back to.
Down Under 2!!!

Hey all
Sorry it has taken me so long to update - it feels like iv not had a minute spare over the last 6 weeks. Well apart from chilling in dubai or 5 days that is. Then from dubai it was on to brisbane, where Janettes cousin rob collected us from the airport and showed us round the place where he calles home, Malloolaba ! sun sea and sand, you can definatly understand why people get fed up of the english weather and move out there. so a big thanks Rob, Jayne and Dave for your hospitality!
After a few days in and around Maloolaba including a visit to the ledegdary Steve Irwin zoo we took short train journey into brisbane where we picked up our jucy love mobile. A camper van no bigger than a car, complete with a double bed, stove, sink and a fridge. We left brisbane a short time later for toowoomba, round 5 of the Rockstar MX nationals. Friday the track looked real good infact they had the sprinkler system on. However Saturday night the heavens opened and sundays racing was turned into a trials ride, janette was cleaning clumps of mud from my boots and helmet all day and i think larry spent atleast 5hours of his day (along with neil) with power wash in hand. 15th race 1 – 9th race 2 – dnf race 3 due to track side banner getting caught up and locking my rear wheel solid – 9th race 4
